Third generation long eye relief scope mount
This
3rd generation mount was built from a piece of steel Weaver stock
obtained
from Brownell's. Its proven to be superior to the previous mounts in
that its lower
overall and simplier.
See Brownell's catalog 56, page
291, item #578-000-002.
The scope is a Tasco 3x28.

This mount uses a larger screw than the
existing setscrew.
Very little clearance between the
handguard and scope.
A second mount is shorter and fits
within the length of the rear sight base. The thread size of the rear sight base
setscrew is M3x.05 (coarse thread).
The key to this whole concept is
that the Weaver base material fits snugly between the
ladder ears of the rear
sight base.
The width of the Weaver base at
this end is not critical.

It is the aspiration of all Initiates of the
House of
Karlina to be victorious in single
combat with the enemy of Mother
Earth.
Seventeen woodchucks have been killed
in the making of this
website.
